hey there
I'm here to help you figure out you
As a certified life coach and an emotional health consultant who has been on my own healing journey for almost twenty-five years, I know it takes a lot of courage to look at the places in our lives that need attention. I also know, without a doubt, it is always worth it.

why consulting
Often times we are living unconsciously, unaware of what is driving our behaviors, belief systems, perceptions and motives. We can feel our life is living itself instead of us living our life.
There is a better way!Through consulting, we will use a blend of body work, wisdom traditions and modern protocols to awaken you to You. We will work together to dig below the surface and compassionately look at the unconscious obstacles that hinder you from living with clarity, creativity, curiosity, calm and connectedness. Our hearts, minds and bodies aren't against us -- they are on our side. They want to heal and as we learn what they are trying to show us, we will unlock our more authentic and more vibrant self. You will become your kindest, most compassionate advocate and finally start living the life you want!Cheering you on in your journey to You!

why you
Through various messages, we often learn we can't trust ourselves causing us to dismiss and diminish our needs and wants. We can end up hustling for love and acceptance through various forms of self-abandonment leaving us feeling starved for essential care and support. With compassionate curiosity you will become your kindest advocate! You will gain tools and resources to be able to express your needs and wants in healthy, sustainable and kind ways. You can trust You!

why me
My goal is to create a safe, judgment free space so you feel comfortable to share the vulnerable and tender moments of your story. I know we all have messy parts that feel difficult -- I will always hold your story with care, curiosity and compassion. We will discover what is happening in the background, how that is impacting you today and bring much-needed help and relief. With proper care and support, I believe that your body, heart and mind know the path to the Truest You.Together, we will find the way.

what people are saying
“My time with Jennifer has been transformational. She embodies grace, truth and compassion. She not only led me through triggers or moments my heart needed to heal but also helped me feel more empowered and confident. I never felt like a problem to be fixed, but a person to be held. I love being able to feel safe to not only feel my feelings, but to also express them.”
Ophelia
“I really enjoyed my time with Jennifer. Each week leading up to our session, I had to mentally push through the resistance I had towards engaging fully. It is hard work being vulnerable and sitting in the discomfort, but it’s truly so rewarding. I felt so at ease talking to her and I noticed a shift in my thought patterns. She’s very gifted in this work and has so much compassion and empathy.”
Riley
“Jennifer had a beautiful way of approaching my vulnerability. Her sensitive and empathetic manner made me feel safe, cared for and understood. Because of her amazing insight and wisdom, I left sessions empowered and enabled withing myself. She taught me how to regulate and resolve conflict using my newly found knowledge of compassionate curiosity and connection"

what people are asking
A few of the most frequently asked questions
How long will it take until I feel better?
This is a question many of us ask in an effort to quickly resolve our discomfort. While it is a journey, you will soon find relief from the turmoil and immediately learn tools to feel more empowered and at peace.I am nervous that if I address my pain, I won't be ok. Will I still be able to function?
Yes! We will work with your nervous system in a compassionate way so that you aren't ever stuck in a place of overwhelming emotion. Can I stop at any time?
Of course! While it is tempting to stop consulting after you begin to find relief, I highly recommend sticking with it for at least six months as you learn the language of your body and heart and become a safer container to heal. Are you a licensed counselor or therapist?
I am not. I am a certified coach with ICF and an emotional health consultant. Our healing comes inside felt safety and withness -- being with another and being with ourselves. These two things I have spent years cultivating so that I can be a safe container not only for my own heart but yours also.Do we have to meet in person or be in the same time zone?
We don't! I meet with clients all over the world through Zoom. How much does consulting cost?
Likely less than you are expecting. Contact me for my current rates.
“as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.”

a bit about me

My emotional health journey began over 25 years ago while in pre-marital counseling. It was graciously suggested that I was devaluing what happened to me and my immediate internal response was that I was far from that. I knew at least some of it was bad. But I have forgiven and I was ok, or so I thought. I will never forget the invitation from my counselor. Her invitation became mine. I became honest and aware of how I was affected by what happened to me. I became honest and more aware of all the misguided ways I was trying to be ok including believing that I was unaffected.

more about me
Through the years, I have learned that turning towards my heart and my story with curiosity and compassion not only has been most profound and life-giving in my healing, but I can confidently say it also has been where I have found peace inside myself and my world. As a certified life coach and emotional health consultant, I have the tremendous honor and privilege to walk alongside others on their pilgrimage to reclaim the parts of them that have been affected by trauma, disappointment and broken trust and uncover their Truest Self. Helping others find peace and ways to thrive right now is one of the most rewarding ways I spend my time.

My husband and I have been married for 25 years, which have been mostly glorious with some not-sure-we-will-make-it years. Choosing to fight for Love over and over again is one of the bravest things I do. Together, we have created five incredible humans. My heart feels bursty with gratitude and joy that I get to be their mom – somebody pinch me!
even more about me
I adore coffee, gardening, hosting pizza parties and authenticity.
I am an empath and will cry with you and for you.
My go-to misguided ways to be ok are overeating and over working – I am mindfully becoming less proficient at both.
I love the book The Shack by Wm. Paul Young and the movie Princess Bride.
My favorite joke:
The mom walked into the teenager's room and the teenager said. "Get out of my personal space." The mom replied, "You came from my personal space." (My kids really love when I tell this joke.)At the age of fifteen, my life was and continues to be transformed by Love. My heart grieves for all the ways Love has been misrepresented. I have found God to only be kind and relentless in his affection and invitation to Love.

My Philospohy: As we mend, our scars and imperfections are a part of our story and make us strong, beautiful and resilient. Like the Japanese art of Kintsugi, we are not trying to fix and hide the fragmented parts of us, we are trying to honor and welcome all of who we are.

my mantras
"Don't shrink back, don't puff up, stand your sacred ground."
-Brene Brown
When I find myself wanting to play small or hustle, I remind myself that I am enough, that I have nothing to hide and nothing to prove – sometimes easier said than done."Everything that is human is mentionable and anything that is mentionable is manageable."
-Mister Rogers
Because of this mantra, it isn't surprising that I find myself talking about very human subjects such as butt hair and over-masturbating.
